| O trabalho trata da transferência de tecnologia de software simulador de expansão de uma rede telefônica. Esta transferência envolveu a Faculdade de Engenharia Elétrica da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) e o Centro de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento (CPqD) da Telebrás. Enfoca as dificuldades do relacionamento universidade/indústria e como estas limitaram a difusão de tecnologia em um caso considerado bem-sucedido. A experiência tratada ocorreu no início da década de oitenta, refletindo as condições político-sociais da época e teve grande impacto nas duas entidades envolvidas.

| This paper concerns technological transfer of software telephonic network expansion simulator, involving the Faculty of Eletric Engeneering of University of Campinas (Unicamp) and the Centre for Research and Development (CPqD) of Telebrás. The study focuses on the difficulties of relationship between university and industry and how these restricted the diffusion of technology in a successful case. The case examined here has happened in the begining of the eighties, reflecting the socio-political conditions at that time and had great impact on both institutions.
