INTRODUÇÃO

Neste documento, tem-se por objetivo estabelecer diretrizes para os Colaboradores da RAUSP, explicitando a Linha Editorial da Revista e as características das suas publicações. Pretende-se, desta forma, estabelecer relacionamento mais produtivo entre os autores e a Revista, alinhando-se expectativas quanto ao perfil dos artigos a serem publicados.

MISSÃO DA RAUSP

A RAUSP, classificada como nível A2 no Sistema Qualis-Capes, é uma publicação acadêmico-científica trimestral voltada à disseminação de pesquisas e ideias que agreguem valor ao trabalho de acadêmicos e praticantes de Administração, missão que vem cumprindo, ininterruptamente, há mais de 30 anos. Divulga artigos de autores nacionais e estrangeiros, selecionados com base em critérios de originalidade, qualidade e criatividade, em um processo de double-blind review.

DIREITO AUTORAL

As matérias assinadas são de total e exclusiva responsabilidade dos autores. Por meio do documento “Declaração de Originalidade e Cessão de Direitos Autorais”, firmado quando da publicação de artigo, os autores declaram ser os responsáveis por seu conteúdo e forma, citações, referências e demais elementos que o compõem, bem como não existir impedimento algum, de qualquer natureza, para a sua divulgação. Declaram ser ele original, inédito e de sua autoria e autorizam sua reprodução, divulgação, distribuição, impressão, publicação e disponibilização, por parte da RAUSP, em mídias impressa e eletrônica ou em qualquer forma ou meio que exista ou venha a existir, nos termos da legislação vigente. A cessão de direitos autorais é feita a título não exclusivo e gratuito, abrangendo a totalidade do artigo, válida em quaisquer países, em língua portuguesa ou outra ou tradução, a critério da RAUSP.

ABRANGÊNCIA DOS TRABALHOS

É importante que os artigos enviados para apreciação e eventual publicação na RAUSP sejam inéditos, nacional e internacionalmente, e não estejam em processo de avaliação em outro veículo. Eles devem despertar interesse em grande número de leitores, significando que, quando possível, a discussão de temas muito específicos deve incluir a aplicabilidade dos conceitos de forma abrangente. Salienta-se, porém, que abrangência não significa abrir mão da profundidade na exploração dos conceitos. Abrangência e profundidade devem ser buscadas simultaneamente.

FOCO NO LEITOR

Os leitores da RAUSP são pesquisadores e praticantes de Administração. As variadas posições ocupadas por eles significam que a formação e os conhecimentos que possuem são bastante diferentes. Clareza e concisão no desenvolvimento das ideias são fundamentais.

CARACTERÍSTICAS ESPECÍFICAS DOS ARTIGOS

Os artigos podem ser enviados em português, espanhol ou inglês, e devem respeitar vários aspectos quanto a escopo, objetivo, formato, ciclo de vida e características técnicas.

Escopo

Os artigos, de caráter científico, podem cobrir ampla variedade de tópicos e práticas de Administração em diferentes setores industriais, áreas geográficas e especialidades funcionais. As principais áreas temáticas são: Empreendedorismo; Ensino, Pesquisa e Produção Acadêmica; Estratégia e Economia de Empresas; Estudos sobre Governança; Finanças e Contabilidade; Gestão Ambiental; Gestão Pública; Gestão Tecnológica; Marketing; Qualidade e Produtividade; Recursos Humanos e Organizações; Sustentabilidade e Tecnologia de Informação.
Eventualmente, artigos versando sobre outros temas poderão ser avaliados para publicação, caso o assunto seja considerado de interesse para o público da Revista.

Objetivo

Os leitores da RAUSP devem sentir-se motivados a estabelecer uma agenda de discussão dentro de suas organizações sobre os conceitos expostos na Revista. Para isso, os artigos devem provocar insights inéditos que contribuam para:

• incrementar a experiência de administradores e pesquisadores;
• aumentar o conhecimento sobre o funcionamento das organizações;
• melhorar o entendimento sobre como lidar com os crescentes desafios da Administração.

  Os artigos podem atender a esse objetivo principal de quatro maneiras distintas:

• oferecendo novas ideias e abordagens diferentes de Administração;
• relatando as melhores práticas e técnicas administrativas utilizadas em diferentes organizações;
• analisando soluções inovadoras de casos práticos da Administração;
• comunicando pesquisas recentes de vanguarda em Administração.

Formato

Os artigos a serem publicados na RAUSP devem possuir formato que valorize a conceituação, seguindo roteiro determinado: apresentação do objetivo conceitual, desenvolvimento do raciocínio, conclusões.

Ciclo de vida

O ciclo de durabilidade dos artigos deve ser longo. O artigo não deve ser um produto perecível, sem valor futuro. Suas ideias e seus conceitos devem ser sólidos o suficiente para resistirem durante longo período de tempo.

Características técnicas

O artigo submetido à apreciação para publicação deverá apresentar as características técnicas apontadas a seguir.

• Deverá estar formatado em:
  • Folha – A4;
  • Doc;
  • Fonte – Times New Roman, tamanho 12;
  • Parágrafo – anterior e posterior “0” pontos, entre linhas “1,5”, alinhamento justificado;
  • Margens – esquerda, direita, superior e inferior de 2 cm.
• Não deverá conter a identificação do(s) autor(es), tanto no corpo do texto como nas propriedades do arquivo.
• Não deverá exceder a 25 páginas, incluindo notas e referências.
• Deverá conter um resumo ressaltando objetivo, método, resultados e conclusões do trabalho, e de três a cinco palavras-chave.
• Visando sua difusão internacional, o resumo e as palavras-chaves devem ser apresentados nos três idiomas da revista: português, inglês e espanhol.
• As eventuais notas deverão ser numeradas sequencialmente e apresentadas antes das referências.
• As referências devem ser citadas no corpo do artigo com indicação do sobrenome do(s) autor(es), ano e página de publicação. Elas deverão ser apresentadas em ordem alfabética no final do texto, de acordo com a norma NBR-6023 da ABNT.
• O trabalho deverá ser submetido pelo site <www.rausp.usp.br> em “Envie seu Trabalho”.

PROCESSO DE APRECIAÇÃO PARA PUBLICAÇÃO

Procedimentos

O autor e os coautores devem estar cadastrados ou cadastrar-se no site da RAUSP e seguir os passos indicados para o encaminhamento do artigo.

Auto-avaliação

No site, o autor e os coautores devem responder, de maneira clara e concisa, às seguintes questões:

• Qual é a mensagem principal de seu artigo?
• Quais são as implicações dessa mensagem? O que é novo, diferente, útil, contra-intuitivo ou importante nessa mensagem?
• Qual é o público que se pretende atingir com esse artigo?

Respondendo a essas perguntas, o autor e os coautores terão condições de auto-avaliar a qualidade do artigo e, eventualmente, descobrir possibilidades de melhoria.

Avaliação

Os artigos enviados para apreciação são avaliados por pares, membros de Corpo de Avaliadores Ad Hoc, no sistema double blind review, ou seja, o(s) autor(es) não é(são) do conhecimento dos Avaliadores (no mínimo dois) e vice-versa, em momento algum do processo.

RAUSP instructions for authors

INTRODUCTION

This document sets guidelines for Contributors to RAUSP, explaining the Editorial Line of the Journal and the characteristics of its publications. It seeks to establish a more productive relationship between authors and the journal, aligning expectations regarding the profile of the articles to be published.

RAUSP’S MISSION

RAUSP, classified as A2 Level by the Qualis Capes System, is an academic-scientific quarterly publication dedicated to the dissemination of research and ideas that add value to the work of scholars and practitioners in the field of Administration, a mission it has been fulfilling for more than 30 years. It publishes articles by national and foreign authors selected on the basis of originality, quality and creativity, through a double-blind review process.

COPYRIGHT

Signed articles are the full and sole responsibility of the authors. By signing the document "Declaration of Originality and Assignment of Copyright" on acceptance of the article, the authors accept responsibility for content and form, citations, references and other elements that comprise the article, and that there is no impediment of any nature to its dissemination. They declare it to be original, unpublished and of their own authorship, and authorize its reproduction, dissemination, distribution, printing, publishing and provision by the RAUSP in print and electronic media or in any form or medium that exists or will exist under current legislation. The assignment of copyright is made on a non- exclusive and free basis, covering the entire article, valid in any country in Portuguese or other translation, at the discretion of RAUSP.

SCOPE OF ARTICLES

It is important that articles submitted for review and possible publication in RAUSP be unpublished, nationally and internationally, and not be under consideration by another outlet. Articles should appeal to a broad readership, meaning that whenever possible the discussion of very specific topics should include discussion of their broader applicability. It should be noted, however, that having a broad scope does not preclude the in-depth exploration of concepts. Breadth and depth should be pursued simultaneously.

FOCUS ON READERS

Readers of RAUSP are researchers and practitioners in the field of Administration. The various positions they occupy mean that their training and knowledge can vary considerably. Clarity and conciseness in the development of ideas are fundamental

SPECIFIC FEATURES OF ARTICLES

Articles may be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish or English, and must comply with several aspects regarding scope, purpose, format, lifecycle and technical characteristics.

Scope
The articles, scientific in nature, can cover a wide range of topics and practices of Administration in different industries, geographic areas and functional specialties. The main thematic areas are: Entrepreneurship; Education, Research and Academic Production, Strategy and Business Economics; Governance Studies; Finance and Accounting; Environmental Management; Public Management; Technology Management; Marketing; Quality and Productivity; Human Resources and Organizations; Sustainability; and Information Technology.
Occasionally, papers on other themes may be evaluated for publication if they are considered to be of interest to the journal’s readers.

Objective

Readers of RAUSP should feel motivated to set an agenda for discussion within their organizations on the concepts presented in the journal. To this end, the articles must offer new insights that contribute to:

• enhancing the experience of administrators and researchers ;
• increasing knowledge about the functioning of organizations ;
• improving understanding about how to deal with the growing challenges of Administration.
  

  Articles can serve this main goal in four different ways:

• offering new ideas and different approaches to Administration;
• reporting best practices and management techniques used in different organizations;
• analyzing innovative solutions in practical cases of Administration;
• communicating recent pioneering research on Administration.

Format

The articles to be published in RAUSP must have a format that enhances conceptualization, by following a determined script: presentation of conceptual objective, development of reasoning, conclusions.

Life cycle

The durability cycle of the article should be long. The article should not be a perishable product without future value. Its ideas and concepts should be solid enough to endure for a long period of time.

Technical characteristics

An article submitted for publication consideration must follow the technical characteristics set out below:

• It should be formatted as follows:
  • Paper format: A4;
  • File format: .doc;
  • Font and size: Times New Roman, 12 point;
  • Paragraph format: Spacing before and after, “0” points; line spacing “1.5”; justified alignment;
  • Margins: left, right, top and bottom 2 cm.
• It must not identify the author(s), either in the body of text or in the file name or properties.
• It must not exceed 25 pages, including footnotes and references.
• It must contain an abstract emphasizing the objective, method, results and conclusions of the article, and three to five keywords.
• With a view to its international dissemination, the abstract and key words must be presented in the three languages of the Journal: Portuguese, English and Spanish.
• Any notes should be numbered consecutively and presented before the references
• References must be cited in the body of the text, indicating author(s) surname(s), publication year and publication page. They should be presented in alphabetical order at the end of the text, in accordance with the ABNT NBR – 6023 norm.
• The work must be submitted at the site <www.rausp.usp.br> at " Submit your Work "
  

SCRUTINY FOR PUBLICATION

Procedures

The author and co-authors must be registered at the RAUSP site and follow the listed steps for submitting the article.

Self Assessment

At the site, the author and co-authors must answer the following questions clearly and concisely:

• What is the main message of your article?
• What are the implications of this message? What is new, different, useful, counterintuitive or important in this message?
• What is the audience that you want to reach with this article?

By answering these questions, the author and co-authors will be able to self-assess the quality of the article and eventually discover possibilities for improvement.

Evaluation

Articles submitted for consideration are evaluated by at least two peers, members of the Body of Ad Hoc Reviewers, following the double-blind review system: the author(s) is (are) not known to the Evaluators or vice-versa at any time of the process.
